Kitchens are further becoming the extension of the living area
In past years, kitchens would tend to be at the back of the home – usually designed as a separate space for cooking. Kitchens are really the heart of the home, and we continue to see the trend of them becoming more upfront and centre.

Technology is continuing to evolve and become intertwined into our homes. With the use of the latest technology, appliances promise to make our lives even easier. Modular fridges and freezes that offer variable temperature zones (compartmentalising temperatures to different zones in your fridge) through to home automation gadgets set to control your home appliances for you.
Colour is set to become luxe
The earthy hues and pastel tones are still going to feature, but in 2019 we are set to see colour becoming more luxe – introducing warmer hues and brighter palettes. From dusty, chalky trends to more warmer tones to better contrast the greys of 2018.
Furniture is set to become more minimalist
Minimalism is the name of the game for 2019 – with furniture becoming minimalist with the need for comfort.
