You will find neighbourhoods where people mingle all the time, spend time together, do things collectively and share their lives in more ways than just coming together during festivities. When you take this away, it can be quite trying for anyone. There are families living in condos who don’t know their neighbours and really have no clue if they can be friendly with any of the residents in the building. Likewise, not everyone in the suburb gets to befriend as many living in the community as one would want. Whether or not there is a backyard where you can be and overlook the fence to greet your neighbour, there has to be a community that will bring everyone together.
It does matter if you can relate to what is going around in your neighbourhood. Rest assured! You will settle in and find familiarity in your new suburb.
