Vacating can improve access and make styling easier, but it also introduces costs and security considerations.

Compare the practical effect

Discuss whether your likely buyers need furnished or vacant presentation. Include temporary accommodation, storage, styling and insurance conditions in the budget. An empty home does not automatically sell faster.

Respect occupancy rights

Confirm the lawful position before promising a moving date. Keep essential services and regular checks in place while a home is empty.
