Inspect the daily experience
Check noise, light, stairs or lifts, storage, parking and common areas. Staff, pools and gyms are not automatic features, and their costs may affect levies.
Read the ownership position
Review strata records, the capital works fund, planned repairs and by-laws. Costs are allocated under the relevant scheme arrangements, not necessarily equally among all residents. Confirm lot rights and ongoing expenses with your adviser. Choose a building that suits your needs rather than assuming the apartment label guarantees convenience or lower maintenance.
