Courtesy at an inspection should not prevent you from obtaining the information needed for a purchase.
Ask before testing or recording
Follow the agent's directions about cupboards, fittings, bathroom use and photographs. Respect personal belongings and avoid assuming that public access permits every test or image. Ask calmly when you are unsure.
Arrange specialist access
If you need a building expert or a longer inspection, make an appointment in advance. Obtain reports and contract advice before committing. Repeat visits can be useful when coordinated appropriately; they are not inherently rude. The goal is informed assessment with reasonable respect for the home and its occupants.
