Hot weather calls for practical arrangements that protect visitors and occupants without changing the auction's legal requirements.

Make access comfortable

Discuss suitable timing, shade, water access and a safe inspection route with the agent. Conditions and the property may limit options; air conditioning is not a universal prerequisite for an auction.

Prepare for the forecast

Follow NSW Health heat advice and consider people who may be more vulnerable. Avoid leaving pets or children in vehicles and keep equipment and exits accessible. The campaign still needs accurate information, a reserve plan and genuine bidders. Comfort supports attendance, but no time of day guarantees a stronger result.
