A move is easier to organise when tasks and responsibilities are visible.

Prepare by zone

Sort one area at a time, label boxes for the destination room and keep a short inventory of important items. Use suitable boxes and avoid loads that are difficult to lift. Confirm access, lifts and parking.

Keep essentials separate

Carry medicines, valuables, key documents and a first-night kit with you. Agree on mover inclusions, timing and insurance. Arrange utilities and address updates independently. Leave time for unexpected delays rather than relying on a flawless sequence. Small, clearly assigned tasks can reduce confusion.
