Guidance reviewed 3 October 2026.

An investment review should use current records rather than an old year's forecast.

Review performance

Check actual income, vacancy, expenses, finance and maintenance. Compare current leased and sold evidence for relevant properties. A rising trend is not automatically the safest investment signal, and past growth does not forecast the next year.

Review resilience

Use the review to decide whether to hold, improve or sell, recognising costs and uncertainty. Success is not determined by one decision or a fashionable location.
